WHEREAS, The University of New Mexico has been a major factor in the success of the 43rd annual meeting of the American Society of Mammalogists, through provision of its facilities for meetings, quarters and all activities of the Society, its officers, members and friends; and
WHEREAS, The Committee on Local Arrangements and the wives of Committee members have contrived a most happy blend of creature comforts, cultural opportunities and recreational pursuits for those attending the meeting; and
WHEREAS, The Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce has rendered services which gave convincing evidence that this is truly a Land of Enchantment and,
WHEREAS, The New Mexico Union Food Service, its Chef and his staff have upheld the best traditions of Southwestern hospitality; now,
THEREFORE, Be it resolved that the sincere appreciation and gratitude of the Society is extended to all who have thus made of this meeting a memorable and profitable occasion.
